Saturday, March 22 is the date for the first annual Troy, MI GL2S Walleye and Salmon Seminar. Join us for our first educational event, the GL2S.08 Walleye and Salmon Seminar. We are bringing some of the hottest professional anglers to Southeast Michigan to provide a day-long opportunity to learn hot salmon and walleye techniques.
To keep things fresh and make sure that each participant gets the most out of this seminar every segment will consist of a presentation followed by a 15 minute Question and Answer session.
Presenters this year include Captain Willis Kerridge (Thunderduck), Captain Brian Butts (Sea Flea), Captain David Engel (Best Chance Too), Captain Bill Bale (Best Chance Too), and Captain Mark Veurink (Reel Action) and last, but not least, Captain Richard Laaksonen (Finweaver).

There is only one session (Copper Basics) that is the same as Grand Haven, Lance. All the others are different.
And of course, we will have Capt. Richard Laaksonen at the Troy seminar to talk about walleyes on Lk. Erie. For those of you that don't know Richard, he is known as the "vacuum cleaner". Make sure you aren't fishing behind him, because he will suck up all the fish. Richard is also a tremendous salmon fisherman...he won the Michigan City tournament in 2007 and was in the top 10 in a couple of others.

Because of scheduling conflicts with some of the presenters and the early Easter holiday weekend, the Troy Salmon and Walleye seminar scheduled for March 22, 2008 has been cancelled.
