It's a sad day over here. I pulled the last of the food and drink off the boat, emptied the water tank and defrosted the fridges. The boat gets pulled out of the water tomorrow.

I didn't get the chance to do nearly as much fishing / boating as I wanted to and not even close to what I got in previous years.

On the up side it's time to start planning for 09 and show season is right around the corner.

I pulled the 31 out last Sunday. I also didnt get enough water time. I must thank Paul(Salmonhead) for the few extra trips that he was able to take us out on this year. Lack of days off and price of gas make it hard to drive to Frankfort every weekend.

Jen what shows are you planning on attending this year.

Thanks to Greg and Tom and Jen for getting me out a couple of times this year, Flat Rate stayed in the barn this year due to economic reasons but hoping next year will look better. Sure did miss the "On water time" this year and it is going to be a long winter I'm afraid. Hope everyone has a great and safe winter and we'll see some of you guys at the shows I'm sure.

Another sad day today as LD is in the barn for the winter now. Oh well, ducks are flyin'.

Had a perch trip planned aboard Hal's boat Thursday, but somehow he managed tickets to the Wings game against the Leafs. Geeze, opening day for the home Stanley Cup winners against an original 6 opponent. Surprized Hal wants to skip perchin'.

i hope every one had some fun this year
just remember it could be
worse
we could have snow and ice
I would like to invite any one that comes down this way (south end of lake michigan )
to join us for some brown trout and cold water fishing when we can get out on our sunday runs over to the gary light
action will start up when the water temps get down into the 40s
THERE IS A LOT MORE FUN TO BE HAD!
