the smallies are really biting right now. i caught 50 keepers on tuesday, just in the mileroads. anywhere from 5 to 11 fow will work. most fish on regular st clair tubes. nothing much or 3 1/2 lbs. mostly smallies, a few nice largemouth. just watch out for dnr, as i've heard they are ticketing bass fisherman, but i was "pike" fishing with a tube, they just didn't bite. i did manage a 7 lb catfish, and my parther caught a 20.3 lb carp (digital scale). there was a gnt tournament on lake oakland last night as well, and it took a limit of bass weighing just over 12 lbs to win. however, only 6 out of 16 boats even caught fish. there were only 2 limits caught. derrek

I hate this closed for spawning BS that they are running on St. Clair. Got to take a digital camera with ya so you can post some pictures here.
