just throwing this question out there to those of you that own tekotas, should i pick up 500's or 600's for wire?

how much backing do you have to put under the 1000' of wire to fill the reel out coz?

I use 600s for wire also - need only enough backing to protect your arbor and the 1000' of wire will fit nicely - that is how I have rigged them.

I just wrapped 3 passes of GOOD black electrical tape on the arbor and put 1000' of wire on as Greg did.
