Back from the South Haven Steelheaders Big Jon Pro/Am in lovely South Haven, Michigan. Was a great turn out given the price of gas they were able ot maintain their entries - I beleive the final tally was 134 boats. Big shout out to the South Haven Steelheaders for a job well done.

We fished aboard Salmonhead for the tournament and our team consisted of Salmonhead, FLATRATE, WingNut, Whaler, and myslef. Was good to be with the boyz again for our inaggural tournament. We also got to see many members and their teams including:

Big Congrats to Team Verdict for a 2nd Place, Reel Deal in 6th, and Double Down in 10th.

Congrats to all the EA members that participated in the tourney. Some mighty fine performances from Team Verdict, Team Real Deal and Team Double Down! It was great to catch up with friends and swap lies (oops, I mean stories).

I want to reiterate the above comments from Greg and Tom and congratulate all that participated. I truly was a great tournament made better by some great teammates and EA members.

Also a big thanks to Greg, Ken, and Ken's friend Art for riding along on one or more days of pre-fishing so I would have a crew. I was great having good people and fishermen aboard. You are all welcome anytime.

Now it is time to focus on a similar performance in Onekama Shakedown this weekend!

That was the first time we had fished out of South Haven and it was a blast. We will be back next year for sure. It was nice to see you guys again. Last time was in March when we were dreaming of fishing. Hootie is thinking that Thursday may work for the friendly fishoff if the weather looks good. Let me know if you guys are interested.
