Cut off of work early Friday afternoon to blow the winter Dust of the Old Girl..We knocked around Friday afternoon for an hour and managed 3 nice browns and then went out Saturday morning for a few hours before the cold weather got the best of us. 3-4 on Saturday..Spoons watermelon and j-11's in orange did most of the damage both days.
Got my Son's friend out Friday for his 1st trip on Lake MI. Another Salmon fishermen added to the ranks!

What a difference a day made in weather!

Frank,
We used the middle ramp both days. They are not in that bad of shape. Water is a little shallow..I would be careful launching anything over 20' there. When leaving the launch to head out into the lake. Stay between the wall and the 1st beam sticking out of the water.
On a side note the two Coho we caught where about 8"to10" long smallest ones I have seen in years. I got a report that they where getting the normal 17 to 22 size up in Michigan City..Hopefully it's just a small school down here and there are bigs ones around...
