Just an added note of good news. the laker that was 5-6# or so was fat in the belly on outside appearances, but when opened it literally had rolls of fat in its insides. Lots of fat on its back, in its guts, and on its belly. Although the stomach was empty, it was not shriveled. She had been eating and apparently eating well.
the brown, about 3# or so, had an 8 inch alewife in its stomach that still had its scales on it. This fish had good bulk for its length as well. The Brown also had mostly digested stuff in its stomach too.
Good news if you ask me. Healthy, thick fish with food in their guts!

Thanks again Greg for the trip!
