We set lines in 60 fow north of windpoint and headed ne, did not take a fish untill we hit 80 fow. The action was decent but not fast by any means. I had a guy bail on me so we had to fish the tourny with 2 guys. We had 2 flurries with 4 fish on and 3 fish on and boated 6 of those seven. Although our percentage for the day was low going 9-17. All action came between 80 and 100 fow trolling north anything. We only got 2 or 3 hits going south. Surface temps were around 71. Speeds around 3 mph were a must. Best depth on the lures was from 35 to 55 down not many hits out of that zone. Best setup by far was a spin doc or protroll with new holo hypnotist trophy fly of rigger and a full core. The only spoon that had good action was the fishlander hey baby taking 3 hits off 2 color swr. The pic is my buddy with the biggest king at 13.8 pounds caught with the new fly.
