Chequamegon Bay ice fishing

Heading up to the bay Saturday, wondering if there's any recent activity near Houghton Point. Last time out, jigged for lakers West of Hermit Island in 125 fow with no hits, and with the recent warm weather, heard the ice is kind of iffy from Madeline Island north. Any info appreciated.

On Point,
Give Capt. Craig Putchat a call at Outdoor Allure 715-373-0551. The are located in Washburn at 1813 W. Bayfield Street. Craig and his Wife have a great Bait shop and our always on top of what is going on around there. Craig guides up there so he should be able to let you know what is working and where.
