Spoons have pulled a few fish out near the islands...more of a harness bite right now....water is still n transition...we are thinking about possible taking the trolling gear this weekend and trying em out if we have too....

went out jigging last night with some newbies...got 26 in about 2.5 hours...little slower than usual....nice sized fish too ! ! ! ! most caught on jigs....purple.pink, and blue/white was hot...

got a tourney out of lakeside(bass islands) saturday and then will more than likely be between turtle island/outter light sunday at 6am....i hope the weather guessers are wrong....again....

In most years the water needs to get up over 60 before the spoons start to go. Before that slow running cranks are the the ticket.
