Hello Fisherman and Fisherwomen!
Just Joined the "educatedangler"and Happy to be Part of the Gang.Looks like a Great Place to Chat and to Learn and Meet some Friends. My name is John aka "Warrior" thats what kind of Boat I have.Home Port "Pastrick Marina" East Chicago,Indiana.

Sometimes You get out there after Ice out and have a Great Day, Fish are Active and Responsive Hit anything You Put Out.Then the Coho Start Pitching Curves and Sliders Your Way as the Season Goes On.I think the Coho get Frustrated and Feel Like it is Left Overs from the Last Time You were Fishing.Metal and Wood-Plastic,and Hairy Tinsel Lures and Baits.Sometimes they just want a Good Meaty Meal before They Strike.Well I give them that by putting a Chunk of Night Crawler on the Hook and thus again You here alot more "Fish on" in the Boat
and the Smiles begin to Roll Out of Faces again from the Bounced Up Battered Crew, and the Pain Just Goes Away. lol I have been doing that for Years and it is sneaky but it can "Make Your Day"! Works great on "inline spinners" back a Football Field ,Flatline or on the Planner.Just a "Secret Spring Tip" I thought I would share with You.Kinda a Pre-Meat Rig Set-up.Ok dont tell No One! Take Care Everyone have a Great Safe and Fill the Box 2007! "The Warrior"

Welcome aboard Warrior. I'm an old school Indiana native, and the old Oslo spinners used to be the ticket back in the day so your findings do not suprise me at all.

We took some of our best Coho in MI City tournys on cut bait behind 12 in flashers while looking for kings....not a lot of them but bigger ones.

This sping I might try herring strips behind the smaller "coho" dodgers...

Skip..

On a tip from Kyle last May...Bird Dog and I managed to whack a bunch of 'hos with cut bait behind standard spinnies and the Opti Inticer.

Mostly off the riggers...
