Got out Friday afternoon with my wife and another friend. Water around TBM and surrounding area was very dirty. Ran north and found some clean water in Breast Bay near Stoney Point. Busted out the spoons and mini dipsies (70-75 back)off the big boards and 2 size 0 dipsies dialed to 3.5 w/o rings 55-60 back. Got into the fish almost immediately. Popular color was shrimp and boy/girl, both copper backed of course. Speed seemed crucial at about 1.8 to 1.9. We ran 2.1-2.2 for a while and got nothing, dropped back down and hooked up right away. Fish were nice at 17-23". Best water depth was 19-20ft. Lots of marks on the finder. Ther best part is we were all alone, maybe a half dozen other boats scattered around. It was a beautiful afternoon. We finished our 3 tickets in under 2 hours. Wanted to mention that the fish were hitting the spoons very aggressively. Had to use the pliers to remove the hooks on almost all of them.

Fantastic Ricky! I'm hoping to get out in that area this Saturday if the weather will cooperate and my ride is able to find his boat.

Went back to same area last night (Monday) water still good clarity, marked tons of fish, but with the stiff east wind they didn't seem very anxious to take our offerings. Same program as Friday. We managed 2 tickets in about 3 hours. I gotta think this area will be on fire soon.
