What a great June. I wish they all were like this. We got a rough start on Saturday (literally) as the 1-3 forcasted were 2-4 with chop in every direction when we got startd. By 7 am it had picked up and we had still to have our first release. Our luck soon changed there after. By 8 am the winds were backing off and we had the first fish in the boat. By 10am we had our customers limit and were in catch and release mode with the last fish. Action stayed steady all day on Saturday with a nice mudline reaching out to the 20-30' depth range. We did all our fish in that depth with copper backed spoons, Raider orange muffin, Blue dolphin, NBK with action mostly off 2 colors of core and 6-8' on the riggers.
Sunday was a much smoother start. We were once again in catch and release mode by 8:30. The sun had a much grater affect on Sunday slowing the bite right down by 9 am. Same depth of water but more fish were hitting on the flat lines with Red MP Raider and MP Raiders on the top of the most wanted list.
