Great weekend out of Pentwater. Fished Saturday & Sunday in 100-140fow with both days producing lots of action. Dipsy 150,175 on #3 & 275 on #1 with no ring, with flasher meat rigs or flies took a lot hits. Green sqid full core with a jumbo hootchie took three in a row, all within a half hour. Red meat rig on Starboard set at #3 took a lot of hits. Canadian Glow plugs saw a fair amount of action as well. Best crew of the year, lots of doubles, one triple only landing 2 of 3, steady action all day Saturday. All in all 20 for 39 for 2 days. I'm still smiling!!!!

Good Luck to all...

We had a great weekend as well. Got to take some family and friends from Minnesota that had never experienced salmon fishing. What a couple of days to take them. They'll be back for sure.

130-140 FOW both days, started straight out and trolled south to the point, turned and trolled north to the north end of the dunes and quit (or limited). 17 for 23 Saturday, all kings (released 2) and 12 for 20 something yesterday (couldn't keep them hooked up), 11 kings and a coho. Mostly adult fish both days but nothing over 15 lbs. The water was real warm after the south blow Friday but it didn't seem to matter, 70 degrees plus 110' down. Caught most fish 70 to 115 down. Fishlander yellow glow froggy was the best spoon by far (all day). 11" blue/glow Pro Troll w/ blue hypnotist was good on a mag dipsy, 11" double pearl fishscale w/ green hypnotist deep on the chute rigger, and green and blue spin doctors and flies on wire and braid dipsies 70 to 100 down. Green glow ladderback J plug took 4-5 hits early both days. Copper and lead were slow both days, only 2 fish on 300' copper with blue glow Silver Horde.
