Two of us made is out friday morning. We waited until the sun came up, headed for the pier, and chickened out about 100 yards from the big lake. My friend convinced me to drop a few lines and fish the channel. We boated five dark salmon quickly and then killed hours without another bite. 2 Chrome/lime J plug(mongoose), 1 chrome/blue J plug,white with black ladder back j plug, white/pearl spin doctor.
Saturday the seas were much more kind. Again 5 fish right away and then had to work hard for two more fish and a bonus catfish. The action seemed to be right infront of the piers and the fish were a much more fresh and silvery.
