Which Triple Rod Holder?

Been looking at buying a couple triple rod holders and can't decide between the Big John, Tite-Loks, or Traxstech.

It seems the Big Johns's and Traxstechs are probably stronger? I don't know seeing I've never ran any of them on my boat. Are the Traxtech Lexan holders no better then plastic? Any opinions would be helpful for my upcoming purchase.

The plastic traxtech are not made for dipsy's!!!! I'd go for the metal traxstech on the gimble mount track or Vectors. These are both over kill if you do not fish a ton! Most guys can get by with the tite-lok if they have cost in mind!

P.S. You can go to our site and find 2-3 to compare! Vector rod holders will be up soon when the "NEW SITE" is finally done! You can just call for pricing if you'd like.

Billy,
Another option is Cisco rod holders. I have used these for the past two seasons and absolutely LOVE them. I was going to go with Vector's, but the price difference swayed me. I currently have 2 triples and their 8 rod rocket launcher. Don't get me wrong, Vector and Traxtech are both excellent products. I have Traxtech tracks under my holders and riggers. But I really love my Cisco holders. I am not affiliated with them in any way, shape, or form. Just a very satisfied customer. Check them out.

I just picked up two sets of Vector's "wide" triples from the Outdoorsman shop in Grandville to replace my original Vector doubles. I really like the space between each holder and the flip loc & spring loc features. Can't imagine a more versitile configuration for fishing boards and dipsys.

Are all of these triples able to hold up running 2 dipsies and a board line? I know many guys would run a track system if I wanted to run that setup, but I really like having the rods a bit higher on my gunnels.

there are a lot of options with the track systems. You can put them on risers, or use the gimbal mount systems or pretty much what ever you can think of. At Traxsteck, if you can think it, or if they can think it, it can be done. I dont think there is a boat that floats that can't have rod holders mounted to it. If in doubt, email some pics to traxstech and ask their opinion.
