Hey FLATRATE did you say that you fished on Team Purple Taco? I haven't used the Purple Taco flies but they look good - can you tell me anything about them? I have some Howie, STS, and a bunch of others from various manufacturers who's names escape me right now - how do the Purple Tacos measure against the others? What's your favorite manufacturer?

I've fished a lot of different flys and they have all caught fish , I like the quality of the Purple Taco flys as they seem to stand up to more abuse "teeth marks" than most others. I also like that Curt puts a glow bead on some of them and it seems to help. Also , Curt don't make flys just to sell them , he only makes flys that has caught fish for him or others that request a certain color and is proven. Curt is a straight up honest guy and I like that from some one that I am doing bussiness with , he is also a heck of a fisherman. He also has an online tackle store and has pretty good deals to boot on most items and fast delivery.

I just have to add my 2 cents worth here too. Curt has proven to me over and over to be a man of his word. And he stands behind his product 100%. He makes some of the best flies out there and like Rick says he only sells patterns that have caught fish or have bben requested by fishermen. And oh yeah, he knows how to fish and he fishes hard. He is not afraid to share what he knows with you either, and that really means alot to guys like me that are learning everytime we go out. Purple Taco flies are here to stay!!
Best, Chip

Hey every use one of those orange crush (purple taco flies) - I can't say I have ever put an orange one in the water - but that looks like it could do some damage. I have used his Blue Bubble now that I see it - that does the trick for sure.

We fished a couple of orange setups out of Ludington this past year and they did good!! I haven't fished the orange crush fly but spoons seemed to work. The purple taco blues and greens really did well.

Greg , I didn't do that well on the Blue Bubble fly but it looks real good in the water, my best was Mirage , Sea Weed , and Green Crinkle , and Blue Glow I think was the other . Never ran the orange fly but I would like to give it a try some day when we are out wacking steelhead. Curt also had a black and silver fly that was pretty good for me for while , I am going to see if I can get him to make me a couple of black nd red and give them a try. His web site is http://www.Purpletacoflies.com , check out all of his flys and equipment.

Man we had the Blue Bubble fly with the black spin doctor working this year (Black and Blue as I like to call it). So Flintstone Spoons are manufactured by Curt also - or is he just selling them? I have a number of those.

Great flies! Great Guy! His flies don't start falling apart after a few fish like some others will. Try a blue/glow behind a black/crushed glow hootchie mama.

Yes he does. I couldn't believe it! Motely crew is right. We'd never fished together before that but gelled quickly into a team.

Do you think I could get Josh to paint his outdrive orange on the Vitamin Sea? All he said was "yeah, right, whatever"
