Fishing remains good. Water has dropped nearly 1.5' over the last 5 days. We were able to access one of our favorite spots last evening and were rewarded. I think there were a total of 7 of us in our "regulars" group that ended up with their fish. Some guys got them in as short as 25 minutes.

Me..well, it took me 2+ hours to get mine, but that's alright. Caught the largest jack I've ever landed..26" fish.

3/4oz egg sinker w/ Carolina rigged pink floater/pink grub tail on a 4' leader worked best last night for me. Didn't seem to really matter though, as the fish were very active with this approaching front changing the pressure.

There are a lot of fish in the river, and the water temps are prime for spawning. Forecasted heavy rains over the next few days will surely throw us a curveball, but hopefully we can adjust and still get our fish.
