Went out with my friends Reid, Red Rider Reid's son Matty, and Steve the cleaning board procuring extraordinare.
Started at the same spot as last weekend, (the boils) with similar baits, thanks Reid for bringing the extra small copper backed spoons.
I had a bunch of 2 color setups and 1 3 color setup, thinking that 3 would be too deep and would hang up a bunch. Well guess what? the 3 color was ON FIRE, absolutely Full Speed ahead!
It took all of our first 5 fish and several others after that.
A small 2 1/8 inch long spoon by Dreamweaver the WD model copper back red edge green spots was HOT on the 3.
I can't remember what they all came on it took a while to get the fish but we ended up 18 for 24ish.
So there was fish taco supplies all around.
I know we picked up one on a small walker deeper diver 75 ft behind the board with a small bomber long A in mother of pearl.
Caught a few off of riggers.
The Shikuma 200gs worked flawlessly as well as the penn 320 GTIs with the Alan Tani recommended 113h handle upgrades.
Thanks Alan for inspiring me.
And guess what, I remembered my camera this time!
A fish whackin good time was had by all.
Even though Steve snuck his handheld GPS on board and stole my coordinates!!
There ought to be a law......
