Brest Bay 5-4-08

Our 3 man crew got on the water in the early afternoon and ended the day with 9 walleye between 19-22 inches plus a bonus 21" steelhead.

We were trolling mostly the outer edge of the bay with the deep husky jerks 50-80 back. Never really got the fish going good. We had a slow steady pick early then things pretty much died for us and we struggled for our last few fish. The clean water was better.

Atta boy Mike...I heard it was a bit tough out there yesterday with that cold front slowing things considerably as compared to the days leading up to the weekend. Sorry I couldn't join ya'...

Some tough reports from erie this weekend....congrats on putting together a program to put some fish in the box...nice job on the steelie...thats always a sweet bonus!!! try tossing some metal next time, eyes are poppin on the spoons already
