Fishing was good out of South Haven although fish were somewhat scattered if you had enough time you could punch a number of limits.

The offshore fishery was the most productive for those with the ability to make the 20 + mile run to the 330 + FOW. Deep presentations returned good catches and a mixed bag of kings, lakers, steelhead, and a few coho. Plan on fishing anywhere from 3 color to 250 + on the rigger - Spin Doctors and flies, Flashers and Spin and Glows, and spoons all did a good job.

Inside the offshore waters 150 FOW had a decent number of mixed fish all of which seemed to be coming deep and near the bottom. The most productive troll was on the 200 - 210 degrees at 1.9 mph SOG. Although the catch rate wasn't as fast as we wanted for the tournament if you had the time a patience picking away at them was no problem. Keep a bump stick handy to make sure the lakers you catch are of legal size.
