This is the best June fishing I believe I have seen in Grand Haven. Picked up a 4 hour afternoon trip 1pm til 5 pm just prime fishing hours, didn't hold much hope for many numbers but was surprised when we went 20 for 24 in 3 hours of fishing. Mostly 2 and 3 year old Kings with a mix of Coho, Steelhead and Lakers. Most action was 180 fow out to 200 fow. Caught fish on 7 colors and 100' of copper 10 colors was very good also. High divers 130' and 150' were good and nothing on the wires.
Best lures were the standard Dreamweaver Blue Dolphin, Hawaiian, the Super Slim Orange Sparkle aka Craig's Steelhead Bait. We caught our bigger fish on the deep riggers with the 11" DW Paddle white or Green with a Pickle Action Fly. Just hope this keeps up but don't have many trips as the fishing normally slows.
