After my crew of 2 showed up a tad late, we shoved off at the crack of 9 this morning to be greeted by a stout 1-2' chop from the SW. After chugging out to the 180 range and dodging the handful of boats, we set up shop and headed sw. We took a coho on the set up and a bit later a nice laker. The cold side of the temp break was not treating us well so we crossed over to the warm side and things got interesting. We picked away and finished 11 dor 16 with 5 lakers, 5 kings and the one coho. Northport Nailers from 8 colors of lead down to 350 copper and Horse Flies from 250-350 on the wire divers and 155 down on the rigger. Sea Weed, Sea Mist and Mirage flies behind the new blue, green and yellow E Chips Custom Captain gary colors, took 7 bites. Nailers in Bloody CLown (86), Greenberry glow (18), Lime Ice (42), Orange Ice (41), Orange Candy Corn (38) and one gold/ orange/ black prototype did the work for the rest of the fish. Kings were suspended and lakers were on the bottom 1/3 of the water column. Divers were king today. Slide Diver Lite Bites were set 40-120 back taking 4 bites. E-Chips were set deep on wire divers 250, 300 and 350 througout the day taking 5 bites and on the Rigger 160 and 145 down taking 2 bites. The temp break was 4-5 degrees.

Nice job, We tried to get out in the evening but we were not having anything to do with that, seemed like 4-6 footers, did see some big boats head out.

We were dockside just before 4 pm and the waves were 2-2.5' tops but very choppy and close together with white tops. Not sure what time you tried. Funny thing was the further out you went the calmer it was. The wind at the piers was twice what it was in 150 fow when we came in anyway.
