Got out to 48 08 around 11 . Pretty slow to Start. Got some unexpected and welcome help from Doug on the bird nest. End up with 10 for two anglers. Confusion on lead 4 colors took three', Rest on # 20 divers 85 to 95 back Mi Hi and pink panties seemed to work best, Great day to be on the lake. First time in almost three weeks to walleye fish.

Thanks for the report. Must have been a beautiful day on the water for you. I was day-dreaming about being out there all afternoon. A few questions:

speed range?
much off species?
size range?

We have a Thursday afternoon trip penciled in, barring storms in the area. One thing I know, it will be hot.

Little Dandy, The best speed was 2.4 with the current, I ran between 2.2 and 2.8 into and against the current.
We only caught one sheep head (lead core 4 colors back)and one white bass.
Of the walleyes we kept 18 inches was the smallest and 24 3/4 was the largest

Anger

Just Curious were you running your core off boards? What lb core you running? I run 27# off boards for Salmon with a decent amount of luck but when it comes to wally's I don't seem to have much luck.

I try it and usually end up pulling the core and putting out jets or discs. Maybe I should stick with it? (Tried core on boards and up the gut).

I have a decent amount of luck with riggers.

Gun boat , I usually start out with one nine foot rod on each corner with lead core with spoons, Some days works good some days not. I haven't used on boards. 27lb lead core with 50ft mono leader. Rick
