You guys still in?
Remember, in this league you just pick 5 guys at the start of the tournament season. It is possible - but not likely - that people will have the same team. In other words, there is no draft or draw, anglers aren't reserved and everyone is available to everyone else.
Each team will also be assigned an individual and randomly picked "6th man" by the director (me). The name is draw from tournament anglers not picked by anyone. It is used for tie-breakers only.
The field of tournament anglers for all six tournaments plus the Mercury Championship should be available now – or very shortly.
www.professionalwalleyetrail.com is the best source of information but there is a lot of information on the web and in various magazines.
Don’t post your team yet – I’ll need those sent to me via private message. I’ll post the teams before the first tournament in Fox Lake on April 20-22.
Say what you want about walleyes - but the way these guys put fish in the box under all different kinds of conditions in different bodies of water is amazing !

I'm still in Pat. When is the deadline for submitting our fantasy teams?

Jim - good question. I make it officially April 10th - that gives me plenty of time to compile all the information and get it out to everyone.

Send me your team by private email on this site or mryan18@wi.rr.com. I won't publish the teams until I have them all. Don't forget to name your team.

Tim - it's simple and fun if you like to follow the pros. Basically you pick any 5 guys that will be fishing on the PWT (Professional Walleye Trail). Those 5 guys are your "fantasy team". It's possible that some guys will have the same team members. Your team stays the same for all the tournaments and the championship. Whatever "team" accumulates the most weight wins. The strategy is to learn a little about the guys and pick those that will fish ALL the PWT events - and have a good catch.
