Dissappointing weekend off the Gold Coast for me.

After hitting the fish pretty well on Sat (Double Orange Crush Stinger Spoons on Steelies and White Blade/Blue/Glo Revelator Flashers with Blue Bubble Flies) we were sitting in the money and feeling great about moving up on Sunday.

Unfortunately Sunday was a bummer as we had the upper gears in the outdrive fail so we ended up limping into Port Sheldon without setting lines at all.

So instead of a check I got a $1000 repair bill !!!

Anyway, I will be back on the water in Ludington. Will miss the Muskegon tourny unfortunately.

Good luck to those fishing Muskegon! I am sure it will be a good event.

Don't feel to bad. I found out my Gimbal bearing was going out at 10;30 friday night of the Muskegon tourney. We went and grabbed another boat dropped it in at 11:30. Made it out on Muskegon lake and the intake hose blew. I had to use my boat to tow it in. Got in at 1am. Went GR got parts and had it fixed by 4am. Off to fish. On top of that I locked my keys in my truck on saturday. When it rains it pours. They've got the motor out of my boat and working on it as I type.

Back in the water.

Whacked them off Grand Haven this weekend on the test runs. Missed the Manistee tourny.

Will be in Frankfort for the Benzie Frenzy.
