I just had to say thanks to all the members of Team EO who are great fishermen but also great friends; can't beat that combination. We continuosly improve our performances and work better as a team.
We caught a little action video on Saturday with WingNut on a fish, Salmonhead goes for the net while our resident gymnast FLATRATE does what could only be called a combination leap frog and disco hustle to get to a diver rod going off.

yeah he is very nimble - isn't he - but when you have fished with the "Leadcore Lightning" you must decrease your reaction time or you never get to a rod.

I havn't seen it yet , have to wait till I get home and see if I can load it there. Sounds like you guys are getting a good laugh , hope you didn't get the part where I pushed Paul out of the way for my chance at a rod. Only way to beat him to one is distract him with something else or tell him there is food out and ready to eat. He was snozzing on the big fish on the diver rod but I was a nice guy and let him have it , hahaha. Actually I thought the fish missed it and that he could reset the diver but when he grabbed it to reset it the big king realized he was hooked and it was " Game On" . Cool to call tournament director at 6:35 am though and let them know Team EO had boxed out and was headed in for breakfast. A great weekend with good friends.

The pivot into a sideways leap off that first step, between Paul and Tom without knocking either of them overboard was superhuman! I swear he curved a horizontal arc in the air to boomerang back to the rod. Is there any way to tag that clip with "bionic" sound effects and music when viewed in slow motion? If not then the theme for Starsky and Hutch will do.

Ha Ha Ha , I got it loaded and watched it at home. Not bad for an old guy . Notice the first hard move towards the rod , almost a pump fake on Paul , then the pick set up by Tom but I was able to make the move through the lane and get to the rod cleanly . With Paul on board I normaly have to get an elbow up as I move towards him just to put a block on. I need to start wearing a pfd more often , almost looks like I was jumping out of the boat. Also note the form and posture while fighting the fish , straight back , clear sight line to the fish , rod never pointed at the fish , body flexible and ready to move in what ever direction needed for a clean quick kill. Ok team , good training film , we'll review it before every big tournament and try to keep it fresh in our heads , next week we start with 3 hour a day workouts and 5 mile runs to get in shape for the double core and deca cores.

Did you all notice the concetratin on my face as I tried to decide which fish to net first. Like the Terminator I scan my surroundings gathering all relative intel and processing it to make the best decision. hahhahaha fun stuff guys.
