If you had to choose only three spoons for the whole season, what would they be?
I would have a Blueberry glow northport 300 for cloudy and deep fishing. This is a consistant king killer and occasionally takes coho and lakers. Next would be an Orange Tiger Roughy glow for low light, bright light and anything inbetween. Also good for steelies and lakers. Third would be Watermelon frost glow. Another good crossover spoon that works at several depths, but shines for steelies up high on sunny days. Also takes lakers and kings.
Spoons that are close runner ups would be lemondrop glow and lemonfire glow. Lemon fire has proven itself as a multispecies, multi depth and light lure, but this year was not quite as good as previous. Lemondrop was phenomenal on sunny days up high for all species, but I had a harder time making go in other conditions. But on a sunny day, it will be in the water on my boat.
What three lures cant you live without?

Fishlander " Hey Baby" , " Sister Sledge" and North Port "Orange Roughy" . That would keep me going all day on most days. Lots of others that are also go to lures but those are my best 3.

WOW! I cannot believe that no one has mentioned anything but a spoon despite the fact that Paul asked for 3 lures... Here are mine, after much consideration:
- White Spin Doctor/PT Money or Green Krinkle Fly: The classic flasher/fly combo - Yeck Wart Frog: This has to be my most versatile bait. Catchs kings and lakers anywhere in the water column and also takes its share of steel on top. Bright enough for bright days, but still works very well in low light or in overcast. - Stinger Red Devil: My all time best steelie bait. Anything orange works when the steelies are around, but it is what I load up on when I absolutely have to catch some steel.

Fishlander Green mongoose, Stinger double orange crush, and Flintstone green jamacan. Maybe the next question should be of your 3 spoon selection what one is your first to grab and were would you fish it. ( rigger, diver , lead, clean or lead drop ) Any time off the year We always have a stinger double orange crush on 3 or 5 colors of lead.
