The brown trout are getting more and more active, reports indicate that boats are getting 3 to 5 browns per trip working PM Lake and the Lake Michigan shallows surronding the mouth of PM Lake. Action is described as much better than last year - hopefully this indicates good action for other species - Kings, Coho, and Steelhead as the season progresses.

No information on what is taking the browns - but good bets would be body baits either freelined or on divers working the top 10 to 15 feet of water.
