hey guys i just got some Okuma reels that i'm going to try to use for some boards. is that a good idea or should i get some different reels?
I have had good luck with the other Okuma reels that i use non my boat. I got the CL452L for the boards. will they work?

you bet they will work. We have run many Okumas and still run the 45's and 55's. Drags seemed to stick on them and that was about the only complaint.

I've been using the Magda 30DX Line counters for my Mono Dipsys, I have no complaint what so ever

I use the same exact reels for my shorter cores. They seem to be a good reel so far. Just a reminder proper storage and maint. will give you the best action out of any reel.
