i prefer wood borads over plastic....cedar to be exact...the plastic does not seem to pull as hard...even with the water keels you can use..

just like LD said, google plans online...thats all i did about 6 years ago and made my own...very easy...hardest thing is to cut the edge for the board to pull to the port or starboard, which is not hard at all if you have a saw...very easy...and mine are not that big...28 inches total, from the offset...and they pull 5 lines of either jet 40s or reef runners all day long....

i spray painted mine orange and put a clear coat on em...some guys say to leave them go without paint...let the cedar soak the water in...then they will pull harder in the water....its a dodge vs. ford battle...too each its own....

you got time to get em done...

we will hopefully be out on the big lake next weekend, i will let ya know how the boards pull this season!!!
