That's cool FR - I've always passed the tapes and ladder backs and stuff in the tacklestore and wondered if I should grab some. We have guys in the marina who modify or do their own all the time. Well that pushes me over the edge - I'm going to do it.

So is there a method to the madness - are you building ones as derivations from ones that you know are working. My bass fishing friends that make their own jigs and spiiner baits and say there is no feeling like catching fish on a lure that you made. I cant wait. Jann's Netcraft - http://www.jannsnetcraft.com/ cool stuff. Now - going to airbrush - I think you'll dig that - I used to be a model builder (one of my favorite hobbies) and used the airbrush all of the time. Once you get used to it you'll find it gives you so much more control and accuracy.

I'm in ... wooohooo some more variables to add, which is cool. I'm also going to try focus on some of the stuff my neighbor gave me - he's from Long Island. Some minature jet heads and other types of trolling gear which looks like it should work well for salmon and steelhead.
