Hey guys, after a short stint of not being able to log on to the old EA website I'm back.

As for the update on the Maumee River eyes here in NW Ohio, it seems as the action has picked up over the past few weeks. The chances of catching that big old hawg are gone but there is a large quantity of 15-18in jacks that make for some fine eatin.

I went out four days last week and everyday was better than the previous. As a matter of fact I got out of class Thursday night a hit the water @ 7:00pm
Fished the Buttowood rapids and hooked into approximately 20 fish in about an hour. Mix of half a dozen eyes, white bass, suckers, carp, etc.

Made for a fun hour..you can bet!

Th latest adventure was Wed night, I fished Blue Grass Island in Maumee and caught a nice limit of jacks in about an hour and a half. Some guys in a hole just down stream were crushing em..

Should be some real good fishing for the next few weeks while the white bass trickle in.
