Well, I finally got out after a month of answering the phone and making lunches...Hubbie took me out Last Saturday.
I managed to catch a nice wild hen of about 10 pounds and a really nice keeper Buck that was 39 1/4 inches. Probably close to 20 pounds. Home by 9:30 am. I am still grinning about that one. Generally the fishing is improving with the cooling we are getting now.

I have a logo and small description of our service. What should I do with it?

I have another question...it is about little articles. I have a few things that I am working on for one of my web sites, but would like to put them here first. Would that be acceptable, and if so how is this done?

First question - just send logo etc.. to mailto:info@educatedangler.com I put those up for ya.

Second question - I will change you from a registered user to an editor - that will allow you to post articles directly and I can help you with that. Once you get the hang of it I'll make you a publisher and not only will you be able to write articles you can make them live on the site and on the frontpage. The site was built precisiley for doing this and I'm glad you're interested. When I make you an editor you'll notice some new menus and icons.

Thanks for the quick reply...must be working today?
Will get those things emailed shortly. I think they are OK as written but you take a look and see if they suit you.

I found the logo...looks great than you.
I went in and looked at my user menu.
Can you give me a brief description as to how and what needs to be done to post an article. I think I work through most of it but if you give me start up- it wouldn't hurt my feelings any.
Probably this should go in as PM. I don't want to look too stupid here.

Ok - it's pretty easy to do. You'll notice a Submit News menu - select that - you will be taken to the edit pages screens.

Title - pretty easy just try to keep it to 5 or six words.

Category - Select one of the categories such as Salmon and Steelhead

You'll notice two area where you can put text in with lots of formatting options. The top area is what will show on the frontpage, Try to keep this to a sentence or two (if they're short ones).

The bottom area is for the rest of the story text.

Font selection should be Times New Roman 2(10 pt) in both areas.

Once you have all of the stuff in - just click SAVE. Publishers will be notfied by the system and we can push the story up. You can edit the story just go to News and Stories and got to the proper Cateogry and you will see you story there - just click on the page icon and that will take you to the editor.

Only caveat - depending on the Windows or Mac version the editor sometimes will act a little funky. If you are unable to type in the two text areas or if you want to edit and the two areas come up empty just click the cancel button (X) and try again ... it might take a little bit of time.
