The annual Swap meet is right around the corner now and is coming up on Saturday March 1, 2008. Our Swap meet is probably the biggest garage sale for fishermen in the western hemisphere. It definitely is the largest in Chicagodom. This event should be on your must list of places to go in the off season.

There will be lots of new and used fishing/boating equipment at great prices and a chance to say hello to a lot of friends you know from the lake. There will be more Lake Michigan oriented tackle than non-lake michigan items.

Coffee, soda and donuts will be available for sale in the back of the hall in case you get up before breakfast or want to take a shopping break.

The doors will open to the public at 8 am or a few minutes earlier if the weather is inclement. It is over by noon. Entry is $4 for current members ( 2008 membership cards required) and $7 for nonmembers.

The Swap meet will is held at St. Viators Church Gymn at 3644 Kedvale in Chicago (easy exit from the Kennedy at Addison). Parking in church lot or on street is free. For more information call 630-688-3172.
