I know hondacat participates in many of these tournies and speaks highly of them ... so if you're in the southern basin it sounds like a must do.

I've fished in a bunch of SU events in Illinois and Wisconsin. What a great bunch of guys, and the tournies are a great way to get to know other members and share information. In 2002, I participated in every one of the Illinois SU tournies....and logged over 4000 miles on the truck in doing so...

Man I love salmon fishing.

BFG if you get down to the southern end of Lake Michigan Salmon Unlimited of Indiana Tournaments are friendly and well run events with food and beverages(pop & beer) at most. You can go to suindiana.com for a complete list of Boat and Shore tournaments. All members of SU Illinois and SU Wisconsin are welcome to any SU Indiana event.

Thanks for the invite Flymaker. I should have mentioned that I had heard the exact same postitive things about Indiana SU as I have experienced with the other clubs. You guys are top notch!

I've not fished from MI City, but have been out of Pastrick a couple times. Sounds like you guys are having some fun down there...and I'll keep my fingers crossed for you for calm weather and clear water. I'll be getting my first salmon fix for 2006 next Friday at the Joe.

Wooooohooooooo!!!!
