How long of a harness do you use on this? Under what conditions would you be running this? What kind of speed?
Thanks,
Kyle

Kyle, The harnesses I run are 4-5 feet long. The best spoon and blade color has been the hammered gold.As far as speed, I like to start at around 1.0 mph but have caught fish running upwards of 2 mph with them.Make sure to use good swivels and not the cheap brass ones or you will have problems when running them at the higher speeds.

I like running these set ups of inline boards and also use bottom bouncers directly of the transom the same time.

Capt. D,

Are you using Snap weights between the harness and the board? And if so, what is your normal "starting weight?" i.e. 1oz, 2oz, etc.

I'll be tying up my own harnesses this spring, and I had anticipated making them longer than the standard 36" that you see in retail stores. 5' was going to be my starting poing...glad to hear I'm not too far off base!
