guys dont wait till the boat is being winterized to put stabil in your fuel system . you need it in there the last couple trips of the year to properly protect your carburator and fuel pumps ect . If you add it when you are winterizing the boat the only thing that gets protected properly is just the gas in the tank . and you can have some expensive problems from your carburators and fuel pumps especially with the quality of gas we get today .
so when you grab your tackle for the last trip of the year make sure you grab your stabil and ad it to the fuel before you go out

Will adding stabil to fuel every refill hurt a merc 60 2stroke, the boat has a 27 gal built in tank?

WILL NOT HURT ANY THING AS LONG AS YOU DO NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PER GALLON OF GAS SPECIFIED ON THE BOTTLE OF STABIL OR ANY OTHER BRAND YOU CHOOSE TO USE

Thanks , but just out of curiosity, say i run less then what's recommended, it says each dose protects 2.5 gal. of gas and the bottle said it would treat 20 gal. total but like i said my tank holds 27 and i brought it to w/in' an 1/8' of full tank w/ my last fill due to fuel prices.

If you leave a fuel tank 1/8 full of fuel all winter in a 28 gal tank you will probably have some where between 8 and 32 ounces of water in there by spring much more than the stabile can remove the guys from stabile told me it can remove up to 30% of the stabiles volume of water before it begins to separate separated fuel/stabile mix will not burn properly
the more fuel in the tank the less water that can condense from atmosphere the more stabile in the fuel the more water it can make burnable
a full fuel tank will condense water on the outside of tank when the weather changers
a empty tank condenses water on the inside

keeping the water out of the fuel system has obvious benefits stabile also prevents varnish build up in fuel systems and can remove small varnish deposits
