Trying to do my homework as I'm looking at a
bigger boat with a 2 stroke o/b. Anyone have
experience with a 225 Evinrude Ficht? Pro's/con's?

PartII...set up to run a kicker, but I'm used to using
the big engine...opinions?

Thanks.
John

great new idea ffi motors
the newer etech seem to have all the bugs worked out

trolling with the big ficht motors will eat spark plugs
make sure you use sd100 oil and give it a slug of engine tuner at least once a year
better yet USE THE KICKER

Its hard to beat the power weight ratio of a two stroke and the dfi models come up to more modern standards on fuel consumption

JUST HANG ON!!
The salmon tournaments with the shot gun starts will look some thing like this the way outboards have been heading the last few years
