Im thinking about breaking down and installing an auto pilot on my boat this summer. My boat is only 21 ft and has a 130 hp in/out. Any sugestions on brands, sizes, prices, or if someone is selling one would be great.
Thanks,
George

You should defintely invest in an autopilot - it will change the way you fish and enjoy your fishing experience. As far as recommendations, I have an older Raymarine which works pretty good - kept us on course at 2.0 mph speed over ground in a 3 - 4 foot beam sea.

I'm at the other end of the size continuum (14.6' boat) and I installed an AP last season which made solo fishing a real treat. No more trying to steer, reel, net at the same time.

My AP investment won't be as substantial as yours, but you will get as much or more enjoyment out of the unit as I do.
