Starcraft islander 221v

I just came across a 1991 islander hard top with a 4.3 mercruser and a 9.9 yamaha kicker for sale. It only has 175 hours and is in mint condition. Just woundering if any one on here has an islander and if their happy with it or if any one has any info that might help out on my desision (pros and cons).

My dad has an Islander and has owned one other in the past. From my time fishing on them, they are nice boats. The only beef I have with them is that with the aluminum construction they act like bobbers on the water. Other than that, they are fine.

great fishing platform good on gas a bit of a rough ride in the waves and hard to keep on course on the windy type days all in all a fovorite of many.
