Lets face it this weather is not going to last. And every year some one gets cought with out their boat winterized. And a broke engine block cost BIG bucks $$$$$$$$ DONT LET IT BE YOU!
In a pinch if the weather turns bad on you tape the engine compartment vents shut ! put a 100watt drop lite on the engine block close the motor cover "make sure the bulb is not in contact with any flamable materials " get it winterized as soon as posible
We have had freezing weather the middle of september in the past be prepared for the worse .
I much rather change your motor because you wore it out chasing the sun and fish
rather than being cought by a cold snap.
