Walleyes are starting to show by Port Huron. Guys are getting some casting twisters from shore but most fish are coming jigging some of the holes up there. Should only be a couple weeks before they start getting them whipping. Also some reports of smelt a also showing up. We picked up about 4 dozen two nights ago. This warm weather should put the run in full swing.

Picked up 5 eyes casting twisters last night in Port Huron. All fish were around 4 pounds. White 6 inch twister with chartreuse head is what worked. i talked to a couple of old timers earlier that day and they said the smelt are the best they have seen in 10 years. I am going to be down by the Blue Water Bridge tonight to get some smelt. They are starting to pick up a few fish at the firecracker but not the numbers like years past yet. Good luck
