Took my cousin, his 12 yr old, and my neighbor out of Au Gres yesterday. Got to the dock a little after six and put the boat together quickly and headed out of the marina. Headed south to point Au Gres and sat down in 23fow. Wasn't to long til our first rod went of, set the hook and took the in line planer off and handed it off to 12 yr old Cody, it was an 8-10# catfish, big smile on his face. Pulled harnesses behind deep diving storm thundersticks, an array of hot n tots, and 2 harnesses with inline weights. The action was good for us in 33 fow, hits were coming on everything for the most part. Ended the day with 7 keepers probably threw the same back, all of the fish were real healthy, biggest probably about 21". Little bit by little bit I am figuring out how to get the eyes, soon I hope to be putting big numbers in the boat with a 4 man crew. fishing died for us at about 11:00.

Good Luck...

Nice job on the fish!! One thing you might want to do is stick with either all cranks or all crawlers. This way if your fishing cranks you can keep your speed up and your more affective and the same with crawlers you can slow right down and give them the proper presenation. I'm heading yp to fish Sat and i'll be fishing south of Point Au Gres a few miles, we've been getting a 4 man limit evertime out. The Deep Little Rippers have been my best along with 1/4 oz hot-n-tots running around 1.9 to 2.2 Give me a shout on the radio (Fishinmachine 2)
