What a weekend huh? The frustrating part was having people back out of going at the last minute both Saturday and Sunday. Got out all three days. Friday managed a 4 man limit trolling rip sticks back 80-110 off the big boards in front of Luna Pier. Cat/dog was easily the best. Wished I could have slowed down more. Could only get her down to 1.9-2.1 Fish were really nice in the 3-6 lb range. Lost 3 or 4 hogs as the newbies on the rods kept thumbing the reels (I had the drags loosened up) and yanked the hooks out. Very frustrating. Had some serious headshaking going on.

Saturday and Sunday were solo, threw blades for quick limits, both days just on the Ohio side of the Toledo light in 12-13ft.

All and all, just what I needed to get rid of the winter blahs!!!

we put a serious hurting on em this weekend as well...i bet we caught damn near 120-150 eyes this weekend....just insane...

i busted out the ice fishing pole and jigged up some eeys as well...nothing better than that!!!

Historically, April has always been hit or miss for me. I troll exclusivly. Based on other reports, it looks like I need a serious lesson in jigging the blade baits and hair jigs. Any volunteers? My boat or yours. Post up or PM me if you can help.

Trolling was pretty good as well, landed over 100 this weekend. Had a few bigger fish as well, its one hell of a fishery!!! Heres a pic of a few of the nicer fish from Sunday.
