The Green Slick was the HOT spoon of the day. This one was responsible for at least half of today's catch. It has two different greens and some gold with a copper back.

Here's the spoons that were on the rods when we pulled lines around 6:15 pm. The stud spoon was 3rd from the left in this pictuer but it doens't show well here.

Nice job guys. Just what I wanted to hear. Were weeds a problem? What was your water depth? Thanks.

Hey Ricky, no weed problems yesterday. We were fishing over 29-30 FOW most of the time, from NE of the island to NW back & forth. Speed range varied from about 2.0-2.4 knots (gps). Slow or fast didn't seem to matter much. It wasn't fast action like earlier in the year but we boxed our 12 in 4 hours time. When are you going out? As of right now it looks like maybe Wednesday, Friday, and/or Sunday for me.

Thanks for the info. I don't think I'll be able to get out until the weekend If you get out before that let us know how you did. Thanks.

Fished same area Monday night between 6:00pm and 8:00pm. East wind was a challenge, however fish were there. Suspended, I was pulling 30 jets 50-65 feet behind the boat. Chrome backs with green/oranage (watermelon) worked best for us. Ended up with 5 fish with two throw backs. Missed a nice 5-6 pounder just behind the boat. Take care, Larry
