we took a short run to the swamp after the t-storms went thru. we marked small pockets of fish in 14-15 f.o.w. and decided to troll for a little while. not even a bite! no silver, no sheep, nothing! marked some nice isolated groups though. probably the t-storm and crappy weather we've had(again). water was pretty clean and it was perfectly flat by 7:30ish. will continue to try the area and report on walleye activity. oh, we trolled rebel craws, wiggle wart crayfish pattern and stingers. 1.9 - 2.4

GOOD FISHIN,

You were in the right spot Doug....weather screwed 'em up I would guess. Try it again...and get those baits in the dirt...

Took a troll from LPHC down to the swamp and back, just had a couple hours to fish. We took 3 walleye, 20-22"'s and lost one at the boat. None in the swamp. Took the fish in 15 ft in front of Luna Pier. Hot-n-Tots 100 back speed 2.4 to 2.6 mph by GPS. Also caught a couple nice perch on the troll and 4 monster sheep head. One walleye was caught on perch color, one on metallic rainbow and the other (and the lost fish) were on craw fish. Nothing on spoons. I think we could have pulled our 2 tickets if we got there earlier and had more time to fish. Fished from 8:30 am to 11 am.
