This thread discusses the Content article: It's too cold for walleye, but …

Quite unheard of (from my experience anyway) for big females like that to be caught this early...especially with the water temps still around 37 degrees. Regardless...that is good news for all of us around here...and it's time to get WET!!!!

Hoping to get out sometime in the next week to start loading the freezer....and keeping my fellow EA buddies stocked with tasty fillets!!!

BFG,
I think that you'll find me in the river this weekend. I'll be crossing at Bluegrass Island and catching the big one. This is my year to catch the hog!

I hope so Braden. I won't make the river this weekend...too busy with other stuff. Water looks like chocolate milk this morning, and my thermometer said 36 degrees at 7:15am today. Northeast wind is pushing the water back upstream from the lake....and crossing to the island might be tricky. Be safe.
