Brown trout fishing is picking up in Fair Haven. Our best time was at 8-9am (go figure)in front of Blind Sodus in 8-12' of water. Waters from 5-20' were productive as the fish quickly scattered from boat traffic. We did well on the west side of the chute as far down as Red Creek. We took a troll out to 30-40' with nothing to show there but the trash that was riding the current lines. Brendan Of Screwy Louies took a ride out to 110' with the same results. We moved back to 10' and the action was back on. Browns ranged in sized from 1.5 lb to one that was just shy of 7 lbs. Our best perfomer was the Raider Polecat off 2 colors of lead core which took half of our fish.
