Alright fellow walleye-heads...

After talking with WAY TOO MANY guys about how good the fishing is out of Bolles Harbor, Cullen Park, and Sterling State Park....I just thought I'd let you know that the fishing doesn't get any better than it is right now on Erie for "eater" size walleyes.

Mini-discs w/ small spoons, sections of core w/ cranks, etc...

If you want to drift, bottom bouncers w/ chartreuse blade harnesses, along with blue/purple have been good. It's a little early for the Mayfly rigs, but if the harnesses are working, I would assume a slow presentation with a Mayfly rig would work as well.

Many fish are being taken in less than 15fow, but the guy that I talked to on Wednesday night had 22 in two hours out in 18-24fow. He was trolling.

Hope that helps, and post up your results. Have a great Holiday weekend, and be safe. Don't forget the OH walleye limit is 6 fish per day, and the MI limit is 5 fish per day. 15" minimum length.

Green Bay has been good. Me and a buddy pulled in our limit of 6 eaters Sunday and released a real nice 29-1/2. Also got a couple of catfish, a northern, sheephead and a smallie to complete a "Great Lakes Grand Slam" of sorts.
